RALPH "WAYNE" FORREST 

Ralph “Wayne” Forrest, age 95, passed away January 9, 2021 at Advent Health after a short battle with Covid. Wayne was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He married his spouse of 50 years, Helen Pasmodi on January 23, 1947. They lived on what now is known as Strawberry Hill. They moved in 1956 to what was known then as Muncie, Kansas after building their home where he remained until just recently.

He was employed mostly in the construction trades or as a truck driver be that long distance, semi driver, out or in town deliveries. He enjoyed working on vehicles and hunting or fishing with family. He was an avid reader. He also enjoyed and was involved in various activities over the years at church, starting in 1947 at Grace & Holy Trinity Cathedral Kansas City, Missouri, until just recently at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Kansas City, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Forrest, his parents, Griss and Hattie Forrest, and his 6 brothers and 7 sisters. He is survived by his 5 children, Sandra and spouse Clay Glenn, Jr.; Linda and spouse Sam Manthei; Janice and spouse Richard Mock; Ralph Forrest, Jr.; Marsha Wooten and spouse David; by 9 grandchildren: Clay III, MaryAnn, Staci, Adam, Josh, Brian, Leslie, Meagan, Curtis; and 13 great grandchildren.

Dad so loved his family and was greatly loved by them and he will be missed by them and all who knew him.

Due to current restrictions Wayne's services are by invitation only. Services will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Kansas City, Kansas. The Committal will take place in the Chapel at the church. The service at the church will be live streamed on Facebook for those who cannot attend.
