James Franklin "Frank" White

James Franklin "Frank" White, age 68 of Kansas City, KS died November 20, 2018. Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Faith Temple Family Worship Center, 3340 SW County Line Road, Kansas City, KS 66106. Visitation will start at 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will be at 1:00 PM at Waverly Cemetery in Waverly, Kansas.

Frank was born august 20, 1950 in Emporia, KS, the second of seven children born to Warren and Joan (Rudolph) White. He graduated from Melvern High School in 1968. He later earned an Associates degree in applied sciences through Fort Scott Community College.

He retired from the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City after 24 years. He held several small jobs; some of his favorites were working for Aramark, cooking breakfast for the Kansas City Chiefs and driving a school bus for middle school and high school students in Kansas City.

Frank was active in his community and enjoyed a number of hobbies. He enjoyed cooking for the Glory Barn at his church, Faith Temple Family Worship Center. He was an active member of the Christian Motorcycle Association. He enjoyed cooking, jigsaw puzzles and spending time with his family. Frank recently celebrated 36 years of sobriety, during which he helped many others on their way to sobriety as well.

Frank was preceded in death by his father, Warren White, and one son that died in infancy.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Sue White Kansas City, KS, son Jamie White of Kansas City, KS, daughter Jennifer Conner of Las Vegas, NV, daughter Justina White of Olathe, KS, son Jordan (Katie) White of Elizabeth, CO, step-son Ken Snyder of Kansas City, KS, step-daughter Carla Snyder of Kansas City, KS, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, his mother, Joan White of Waverly, KS, his sister, Irene (Ron) Perry of Branson, MO, brother Duane White of Waverly, KS, brother Cletus (Tammy) White of Waverly, KS, sister Marie (Brad) Rogers of Emporia, KS, brother Jeff (Gayle) White of Paola, KS, sister Diane (Kevin) Hendon of Scottsdale, AZ, and many nieces and nephews, other family members, and too many friends to name.
