In 1969, he married Mercedes Perez (proceeded him in death). He became a stepfather to her children, son Armando Perez Sr., daughters: Margarita Perez (preceded him in death) and Consuelo.

Together, Tony and Mercedes opened and ran a Beauty Salon for many years until Mercedes’s retirement.

He had a great sense of humor, loved to dance and travel. Tony was a devout Catholic who loved to share what it meant to be a Catholic with those he met. He loved going to Mass, praying the Rosary and all the Sacraments.

Tony was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend. He loved all those that he knew and those that knew him loved him.
