Was survived by her husband of 54 years Gabino Vidal and six children (Gabino Jr, Lucia, Maria Del Pilar, Veronica, Matilde and Elizabeth), nine grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren. She was 71 years old, passed away in Kansas City, Missouri, on October 10, 2019 surrounded by her family and friends.

Lucia Vidal was born on August 4, 1948 in Mexico City, Mexico. She was the eldest of seven children and she was a very loving sister and a mother figure to all of her siblings. To her children, she was a wonderful and loving mother and to her husband she was exemplary and devoted wife. She was a loving example, mentor and supporter of her entire family, including her nieces and nephews. She was the aunt that
you could always count on and the one who was there time after time.

She moved to the Kansas City area with her family in April of 1980. She was an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church since 1984. Her church ministries included being a deaconess, singing ministries, woman’s ministries, prison (she wrote letters to inmates) and Dorcas ministries.
Her personal hobbies included cooking, arts and crafts – especially painting, gardening, writing poetry and crocheting. She also never forgot to send out Christmas, birthday, anniversary, get well cards to all of her friends and family.
Her devotion to God and her willingness to accept His will was evident. Her spirit of love, strength and faith were a beacon to us and will remain with us forever.

We Thank You:
Thanks to all of those who have shared with her in life and during this difficult time. We are grateful
for all of the love and support that we have received from our friends and family.
